Vernon Thompson is entering his fifth season under head men's basketball coach Mitch Oliver.
Thompson played four years at Quinnipiac University from 1999-2003, being named captain his senior season. In 2000, Thompson became the first walk-on player to earn a full Division I scholarship in Quinnipiac men's basketball program history.
