• Bennet, Buck Earn NEILA Academic All-Region

    New Haven, Conn. – Seniors Justin Bennet (Fairfield, Conn.) and Greg Buck (Berlin, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men’s lacrosse team were named as members of the 2017 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Academic All Region teams, announced earlier today.

    Louisville, Ky. – Junior Gillian Fortier (Naugatuck, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College softball team has been named to the 2017 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III All-Northeast Second Team. This is the second time in Fortier's collegiate career she has received this year-end honor from the NFCA.

Bennet was the lone Falcons to receive the honor and he landed on the second team.

Following the win, the Falcons will face Saint Joseph’s of Maine in game 10 at 8 p.m.
