Freshman Fanol Prevalla (Berlin, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus baseball team has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week.

Prevalla led the Falcons in their 1-1 week by hitting .556 in two games played. Prevalla recorded five hits, four RBI and two runs scored, while going 1-for-2 in stolen base attempts. Heading into Monday night's double-header, he was on a four-game hitting streak.
