Men's Lacrosse Loses on the Road to Saint Joseph's of Maine

Standish, Me. – Despite a three-goal, three assist performance from freshman Jordan Garguilo (West Haven, Conn.), the Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team lost, 17-6, to GNAC foe Saint Joseph's of Maine on Saturday afternon at the SJC Athletics Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Saint Joseph's of Maine took control in the opening quarter scoring seven unanswered goals, 7-0, before extending its lead to 13-0, after netting six straight to start off the second.

Garguilo got the Falcons on the board at the 5:55 mark as he was able to find the back of the net for his fifth of the season. Shortly after, the Monks tacked on two more goals to hold a 15-1 lead at the half.

Albertus Magnus continued to fight back on offense, outscoring the hosts 5-2 over the final 30 minutes of play, but it wasn't enough to make the comeback as the Falcons fell on the road, 17-6.
