Ian Reynolds Named Head Men's And Women's Golf Coach

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Albertus Magnus College Director of Athletics Michael Kobylanski has announced the hiring of Ian Reynolds as the school's new Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach.

"Ian Reynolds is a rising star in the golf community," Kobylanski said. "His knowledge of the local golf scene will be an immediate asset. In addition, Ian has tremendous knowledge of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference through his time as student-athlete in the league. We look forward to Ian leading our golf programs to continued success."

Reynolds is the current head golf professional at Alling Golf Club in New Haven, Conn., where he conducts private and group instruction to all ages, including junior players and collegiate golfers as well as managing the daily golf operations of the course. He also has held clinics and camps to help develop golfers and holds a Level 1 Professional Golf Associate certificate.

During his time as a student-athlete on the men's golf team at Emmanuel College, Reynolds won two tournaments, had 22 top-five finishes and was a three-year captain on the men's golf team. He also holds the program's 18 and 36-hole scoring record and is a three-time All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) performer.

Reynolds holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master's degree in finance from Emmanuel College.
