Freshman Jordan Kubilus (Cheshire, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus baseball team has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office earlier this week.

Kubilus registered 10 hits on the week and batted .556 with nine runs batted in, while leading the Falcons to a 3-2 week.  He had five runs scored and two doubles as well.

Against Mount Saint Mary (N.Y.), he went 4-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored.  He also went 4-for-5 in the Falcons' 15-9 win at Rivier on Saturday , while adding a double, three RBI and two runs in that contest.

The Falcons are scheduled to head to Boston on Saturday for a noon start at Tufts University against Suffolk.
