SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The Albertus Magnus College baseball team lost a 5-2 game to Sage College on Thursday evening in a non-conference game.
Eric Galarza (Bridgeport, Conn.) was 2-for-4 and drove in two runs. Adriel Espada (Bridgeport, Conn.) was 1-for-3 and scored both runs for the Falcons while stealing a base.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons struck first in the top of the first inning, as Galarza drove in a run with an RBI single to score Espada, who started the inning with a single of his own and then stole second base.
- Sage responded with a run in the bottom of the first as Evan Grimes singled to score Jayden Kennedy, who hit a one out double. Albertus starting pitcher, Joey O'Hara (Bethel, Conn.) got out of the jam with allowing just the one run in the inning, leaving runners stranded on first and second.
- After both teams went scoreless over the next two innings, Sage scored three runs in the bottom of the third, highlighted by an RBI double by Nick Irizarry. John Kelleher and Jayden Kennedy also had RBI singles as the Gators took a 4-1 lead.
- The Gators added nother run in the bottom of the sixth on an RBI single.
- Albertus rallied for a run in the top of the eighth as Galarza hit his second RBI single of the game, scoring Espada, who drew a one-out walk.
