NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Alex Perez (Meriden, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College baseball team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week and Justin Feinstein (Monroe, Conn.) was named to the weekly honor roll for their performance over the last week.

Perez had a breakout week for the Falcons, going 6-for-17 (.353) with three home runs, a double, seven RBI and a .941 slugging percentage.

In the second game of a doubleheader against Lasell on March 28th, he went 2-for-4 and hit two two-run homers, which were the first two of his career while driving in four runs.

In game one against New England College on March 29th, he went 3-for-4 with a home run, double, two runs and three RBI.

During game one against Lasell on Saturday, Feinstein threw seven innings with a career-high 13 strikeouts.
