NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College baseball team lost both ends of a doubleheader, 5-0 and 11-4 to Mitchell College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Friday.
Brayden Hastings (Wallingford, Conn.) had three hits in game two with an RBI, while Joey O'Hara (Bethel, Conn.) had a double, a run and an RBI in the second game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless first inning, the Mariners got on the board, as Chas Terni, Jr. hit a solo homer, making it a 1-0 game.
- Justin Feinstein (Monroe, Conn.) retired six straight batters through the second in third innings.
- Mitchell added a run in both the fifth and sixth innings as Ryan Dennis and Terni, Jr. each had RBI singles. Terni then added an RBI double as part of a two-run seventh inning for the Mariners.
- Alex Perez (Meriden, Conn.) had the lone hit for Albertus.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the bats were quiet for the first two innings, both teams erupted for four runs apiece in the third inning. Ryan Dennis hit a three-run triple to highlight the top half of the inning for Mitchell. In the bottom half of the inning, the Falcons scored on a wild pitch followed by a double steal which allowed Adriel Espada (Bridgeport, Conn.) to steal home to make it a 4-2 game. O'Hara followed with an RBI triple and Hastings added an RBI single to tie the game, 4-4.
- The Mariners added four more runs in the top of the fourth, as Jayden Sgro and Michael Ficocelli each had RBI doubles as Mitchell took an 8-4 lead.
- Mitchell added a run in the sixth and two more in the seventh.
