DANBURY, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College baseball team were swept by the Wolves of Western Connecticut State University on Wednesday in non-conference, doubleheader action. The Falcons dropped game one, 12-6, , followed by a 5-3 loss in game two which was shortened to six innings.
At the plate, Joey O'Hara (Bethel, Conn.) had three hits and two RBI on the day. He also scored two runs. He also started game two on the mound, pitching three innings and striking out four.
Mark Whittington (Meriden, Conn.) had five hits, two runs, and two RBIs.
Riley Corgan (New Milford, Conn.) started game one, pitching 3.2 innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wolves jumped to the nearly 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first on a two-run home run by Nick Lobouno.
- The Falcons answered in the second as O'Hara came across to score on a single by Alex Perez (Meriden, Conn.). The Falcons took the lead as they plated a pair of runs in the third, courtesy of a double by Eric Galarza (Bridgeport, Conn.), scoring Whittington. Galarza came in to score on a sacrifice fly by Noah Grosso (Farmington, Conn.).
- WestConn responded in its half of the third as Lobouno doubled home the tying run, making it a 3-3 game.
- The Wolves added three in the fourth as Ryan Vallie singled home a pair to highlight the inning.
- Vallie singled home two more runs in the fifth inning, and later scored on a throwing error after a single by Rosa.Joe Fasano then hot a two-run single to put the Wolves ahead, 11-3.
- Keough doubled home Rosa to give the Wolves a 12-3 lead in the sixth.
- The Falcons added three runs in the seventh on doubles by O'Hara and Grosso.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons took a 2-0 lead in the first after O'Hara reached on a fielder's choice, scoring Grosso in the process. They followed that up with an RBI single by Baltazar Mesa (Santo Domingo, D.R.), scoring Whittington.
In the top of the fourth, Albertus increased their lead to 3-0 as Whittington sent a 2-0 pitch to the right side to score Anthony Abate (Naugatuck, Conn.).
The Wolves responded in their half of the fourth as they brought home five runs, starting with a groundout by Robert Garcia, scoring Lobouno. Anthony Marsala later doubled to left center, scoring two runs. Marsala later scored on a single by Justin Reo to give WestConn the lead. Keough added an RBI single.
