WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College baseball team lost both ends of a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader on the road against the Blue Jays of the University of Saint Joseph's (Conn.) on Monday afternoon, by final scores of 7-2 and 3-2.
Joey O'Hara (Bethel, Conn.) had three extra base hits on the day. Eric Galarza (Bridgeport, Conn.) homered in game one while Alex Perez (Meriden, Conn.) went deep in game two.
Justin Feinstein (Monroe, Conn.) started game one, pitching 4.1 innings, while Peyton Thomas (Washington, Conn.) pitched 6.1 starting game two.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Galarza put the Falcons on the board first with an RBI single up the middle, scoring Adriel Espada (Bridgeport, Conn.) - who drew a leadoff walk - to give the Falcons the 1-0 lead in the first.
- The Blue Jays quickly responded with a pair of runs in their half of the first as Sam Balducci hit a two-run double
- Jack Kane scored two innings later on a fielder's choice.
- In the top of the fourth, Galarza led off the inning by sending 2-0 pitch over the wall in right for his fourth home run of the season to cut the Albertus deficit, to 3-2.
- In the bottom of the fifth, Kane hit a two-run homer, putting the Blue Jays up by 5-2. Two batters later, Dom Scalia made it a 6-2 game after a solo home run. USJ added one more run in the sixth on a bases-loaded walk to Scalia.

- The Blue Jays opened the scoring in the first after an RBI single by Scalia, scoring JJ Fox.
- The Falcons tied it in the third as Perez homered to left to lead off the inning.
- Albertus took the lead in the fourth as Brayden Hastings (Wallingford, Conn.) singled up the middle, scoring O'Hara, who led off the inning with a triple.
- USJ tied it in the sixth as a sacrifice bunt by Ryan Shaw scored Balducci.
- The Blue Jays took the lead in the seventh for good, courtesy of a sacrifice fly by Ryan Quinn, scoring Tyler Carlstrom.
