NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College field hockey team lost a 7-0 game to Rivier University on Saturday evening at Celentano Field in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play.

Rayna Polacek (Harrisville, R.I.) made her first start in goal for the Falcons, stopping five shots on the day.

• In a tight first half, Rivier scored the lone goal of the first 30 minutes as Reilly Swislosky made it a 1-0 game at the 8:49 mark.
• The Raiders opened up the game in the third quarter with five goals over a span of 7:16. Swislosky scored two more in the quarter and Brianna Spinelli scored twice. Kelsey Bain scored her second goal of the game in the fourth quarter.
• Melina Tarzia (Stamford, Conn.) had two shots on goals for the Falcons.
