NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College field hockey team lost in a non-conference 4-0 game to Manhattanville College on Monday evening at Celentano Field.

Rayna Polacek (Harrisville, R.I.) stopped six shots on the day.

Lila Kieley (Shelton, Conn.) had a shot on goal for the Falcons.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Manhattanville quickly took the lead with a goal from Emelina Leccese in the 7th minute of the quarter. Emma Masie added another goal in the 14th minute with an assist from Leccese to make it a 2-0 game. 
• The Falcons held strong in the second quarter, with a save from Polacek, keeping the game at 2-0. 
• Kieley had a shot on goal for the Falcons in the second quarter, but Hannah Doherty kept the Falcons off the board with a save just before halftime. 
• The Valiants scored two more goals in the third quarter from Fiona Doherty and Leccese, making it a 4-0 finish.
