NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Jayquan Kirkland (Stratford, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week for his contributions on the court this past week. 

In the Falcons' 95-71 win at home over Rutgers-Newark on November 25, the junior guard had a spectacular performance, notching a career-high 31 points, going 11-for-13 from the field, including 7-for-8 from three. Kirkland also had three rebounds, one steal, and one block.

This season,  Kirkland leads the team in scoring at 18 points per game while shooting 48.8 percent from three.
