NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Ta'zhon Daniels (New Haven, Conn.) scored 30 of his game-high 34 points in the first half as the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team left little doubt in a 125-68 drubbing of Elms College on Tuesday evening in The Nest in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) matchup.
The win was the fourth in a row for the Falcons who remain undefeated in the GNAC at 4-0.
Daniels shot 13-for-21 from the field, including 5-for-9 from three while collecting four rebounds, and dishing out three assists.
Ray Ford, Jr. (Jersey City, N.J.) scored 19 points, shooting 5-for-8 from three with five assists, five steals and three rebounds. Isaiah Earl (Hamden, Conn.) scored 17 points on 6-for-8 shooting with three rebounds, two steals and two blocks.
Jayquan Kirkland (Stratford, Conn.) added 12 points and six rebounds while Avery Hinnant (Naugatuck, Conn.) was a perfect 4-for-4 from the field, finishing with ten points, eight rebounds and three assists.
The 125 points tied for the second most points in a game in program history and three points shy of tying the program record of 128, which the Falcons set in 2023 in a win over Colby-Sawyer.

- Later in the first half, the Falcons went on a 32-12 run, which started with a dunk and a layup form Hinnant and was bookended with Daniels scoring the final 16 points for Albertus during the run, including three three-pointers to give Albertus a 38-17 lead halfway through the first half. Hinnant had seven points during the run, while Kirkland scored five.
- Albertus did not relent as later on Ford, Jr. and Earl hit back-to-back threes to put the Falcons ahead 46-20.

- Earl kept the hot Albertus shooting going after halftime, opening the second half with an emphatic dunk followed by a three from the top of the key. Daniels later tipped in a basket, while Kirkland converted a three-point play and Ford, Jr. made a layup to give the Falcons the commanding 77-41 lead just three minutes into the second half.
- Earl and Ford, Jr. flushed home back-to-back dunks to give Albertus an 84-43 lead. The pair would combine for four more three-pointers, including three from Ford, Jr. as Albertus lead 99-51 at the 10 minute mark of the second half.
- Albertus would go onto lead by as much as 60 points in the game. Mohamed Kante (Bronx, N.Y.) scored six points in the second half off the bench, while Lennox Serrano (Waterbury, Conn.) scored five of his seven points in the second half.
