NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Ray Ford, Jr. (Jersey City, N.J.) scored a game-high 25 points, and Ta'zhon Daniels (New Haven, Conn.) added 24 points as the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team took down Dean College, 104-67 in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tilt in The Nest.
Ford, Jr. went 6-for-11 from three and added four rebounds and six assists on the day. Daniels added three rebounds and three assists.
Lennox Serrano (Waterbury, Conn.) added 10 points on 5-for-9 shooting with seven rebounds, Avery Hinnant (Naugatuck, Conn.) had nine points on 4-for-5 shooting with a game-high 11 rebounds, and Isaiah Earl (Hamden, Conn.) had nine points and seven rebounds.
It was senior night for the Falcons, as Daniels, Ford, Jr., Hinnant, Jayquan Kirkland (Stratford, Conn.), Taufick Aziz (Ghana/Bronx, N.Y.) and Rodrick Pearson (Hartford, Conn.) were all honored prior to the game.
The Falcons have now won their last four games.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After Dean scored the first two points of the game, the Falcons rattled off the next 10 led by five points from Hinnant and a three-pointer from Daniels.
- Dean scored the next nine points on three consecutive three-pointers to take a one-point lead.
- Ford, Jr. gave the Falcons the lead for good after hitting two straight threes to put Albertus ahead 16-11 at the 14:04 mark of the first half.
- WIth Albertus leading 26-20, Ford, Jr. scored the next eight Albertus points, including two more three-pointers, while Daniels and Hinnant each had a basket as the Falcons took a commanding 38-23 lead with 3:06 on the clock.
- Ford, Jr. hit one more three and Daniels hit a jumper at the buzzer as the Falcons took a 45-32 lead at halftime.
- The Falcons opened up the second half on a 16-3 run as Daniels scored the first eight points of the half for Albertus.
- Ford, Jr. hit his final three of the game with 13:49 left to put the Falcons ahead 66-39.
- Albertus led by as much as 40 points in the second half and never let Dean get close.
- The Falcons got 27 points from the bench in the game, led by Aziz and Nate Charlot (Monroe, Conn.), who each scored seven points.
