Daniels Voted In As NABC Division III All-Star

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Ta'zhon Daniels of the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team was voted in to play in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III College All-Star Game after receiving 27.9 percent of the vote from fans.

Daniels - along with Jayden Rowe of York (Pa.) - was selected from a field of six players and will join a roster of eight additional players on each side, which will be announced after the Division III Round of 16 is completed this weekend.

The game will take place on Saturday, March 21 at 2:30 p.m. at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind..

Daniels becomes the fourth player in program history to be named to the NABC All-Star game, joining  Jaqhawn Walters (2018), Victor Ljuljdjuraj (2015) and Darius Watson (2014). Ljuljdjuraj was the game's MVP in 2015.

This season, Daniels was named to the All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) First Team for the second straight season after averaging 21.3 points per game, 3.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.1 steals per game. He finished his career at Albertus as the program's sixth all-time scorer with 1,446 points.
