NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team was selected to finish in tenth place as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) released its 2026 preseason coaches' poll.
The Falcons received 54 voting points in the poll.
Defending GNAC Champion, Rivier was picked to repeat with 157 voting points, including seven first-place votes. Last season's runner-up Lasell was picked just behind the Raiders with 155 voting points, including four first-place votes. Emmanuel College was picked third with 147 points and the remaining two first-place votes. The University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) was picked fourth with 138 points and Dean rounded out the top five with 106 points.
Coming in sixth was Saint Joseph's College of Maine (104 voting points), followed by Norwich (93), New England College (85), Regis (63) and Albertus.
Colby-Sawyer (32), Elms (30) and Mitchell (19) rounded out the rest of the field.
The Falcons open up their 2026 campaign with a home game against Anna Maria on Wednesday, February 18th at 6 p.m.
