ALBANY, N.Y. - The Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team lost a 7-5 non-conference game to Russell Sage College on Wednesday afternoon.
Marcus Burrows (West Haven, Conn.) scored two goals, while DaKari Coleman (Norwalk, Conn.), Nicholas Longo (Ridge, N.Y.) and Alex Morales (Wallingford, Conn.) each had one.
Alexis Gonzalez (Edison, N.J.) had 12 saves on the day

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first quarter of the game went scoreless as Gonzalez stopped three shots for the Falcons and Jordon Hankel of Sage stopped the lone shot he faced in the first 15 minutes.
- Morales broke the scoreless tie with a goal less than three minutes into the second quarter on a pass from Sean Keenan. Mame Diba of Sage scored two goals, the second coming with 56 seconds left before halftime, to give the Gators a 2-1 lead at halftime.
- Sage extended its lead to 4-1 after two goals to start the third quarter, including one more from Diba. Longo then took a pass from Coleman and scored his 13th goal of the season with 8:57 left. After Diba's final goal of the game, Burrows scored his first og the game to make it a 5-3 game with 3:46 left. Sage took a 6-3 lead into the fourth after a goal with less than two minutes left by Carson Pesce.
- After a goal by the Gators at the 13:23 mark of the fourth, Coleman took a pass from Burrows to make it a 7-4 game. Burrows scored the final goal for Albertus in a man-up situation after a pass from Coleman with 32 seconds left.
