Burrows and Keenan Score In Men's Lacrosse GNAC Loss To Lasell

NEW HAVEN, CONN. - The Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team lost a 21-2 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game to Lasell University on Saturday afternoon.

Marcus Burrows (West Haven, Conn.) and Sean Keenan (Franklin Square, N.Y.) both scored for the Falcons. 

Alexis Gonzalez (Edison, N.J.) had 22 saves on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Lasell got the scoring started just 50 seconds into the game as Jason Martin scored his first of five goals on the day. The Falcons were blanked in the first quarter, as the Lasers scored six more goals, including another from Martin. 
  • The Lasers added five more goals in the second quarter before the Falcons got on the board, as Burrows buried his 25th goal of the season. Lasell added two more goals to end the second quarter from Colin LaBaron and Jack Condon. 
  • Lasell added four more goals in the third quarter, including two more from Martin, another from Condon, and one from Nate Campbell.
  • The Lasers added three more goals from Julian Vogel, Ryan Haden, and one more from Campbell. Keenan added the final goal of the game for the Falcons at the 3:57 mark in the fourth quarter, making the final 21-2.
