YONKERS, N.Y. - The Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team battled back twice from one-goal deficits in the second half played to a 2-2 draw against Sarah Lawrence College on Saturday evening in a non-conference game.
Ryan Wargo (Niantic, Conn.) scored his first career-goal for Albertus, while Aiden Coelho (Naugatuck, Conn.) added his first goal of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Albertus had opportunities in the first half, with four of its seven shots on goal. However, Sarah Lawrence goalkeeper, Jonah Zalis was able to make a stop on all four opportunities. Albertus goalkeeper, David Lucero (East Haven, Conn.) stopped the lone shot on goal by Sarah Lawrence.
- The offense opened up for both teams in the second half, with the Gryphons striking first on a goal from Peter Miles after a corner kick into the box found his right foot as he put the ball in the back of the net in the 55th minute
- In the 60th minute, Albertus answered with a goal by Wargo. On the goal, Andres Mendez-Suarez (East Haven, Conn.) shook off two defenders in the 18-yard box and sent a low pass across the box past defenders to Wargo, who drilled it home to make it a 1-1 game.
- The Gryphons took the lead again in the 70th minute on a pass from Miles who looped a pass to Morris Monaco Collins, who scored to make it a 2-1 game.
- Four minutes later, after a handball in the box by Sarah Lawrence, Coelho drilled home the penalty kick to tie the game for good.
