WESTON, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team suffered a road loss in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action, falling to Regis (Mass.) on Wednesday evening, 1-0.
Albertus outshot Regis 5-4 in the second half.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Juan Pablo Chavarria scored the lone goal for the Pride in the 10th minute of play. After a cross was sent into the penalty box, the ball was deflected onto the foot of Chavarria, where he took a shot from beyond the 18-yard box to score the game-winning goal.
- The Falcons had seven total shots, with two on goal.
- The two chances on net for the Falcons came in the second half. Joao Oliveira (Middletown, Conn.) took a chance in the 76th minute, and the second shot came from Matheus Pimenta (Bridgeport, Conn.) in the 80th minute, but both were stopped by Regis goalkeeper, Chris Alcon.
- In the final minute of play, a dangerous freekick from the Falcons landed on the foot of Andres Mendez-Suarez (East Haven, Conn.) but his shot was just wide of the net.
