FRANKLIN, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team lost a 1-0 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game to the Dean College Bulldogs on Tuesday afternoon.
David Lucero (East Haven, Conn.) had four saves on the day.
Albertus outshot Dean on goal, 6-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two teams battled to a scoreless draw over the first 45 minutes as Lucero stopped three shots on net, including back-to-back shots in the 11th minute.
- Albertus had three shots on net in the first 15 minutes of the second half, two coming in succession from Lorenzo Lauria (New Haven, Conn.) in the 60th minute.
- Dean broke the scoreless tie in the 78th minute as Ciaran Phibbs took a free kick into the box that was redirected on a volley by Felipe Castillo and into the back of the net to make it a 1-0 game.
- Albertus had one more shot on goal the rest of the way, but were unable to get one past Dean goalkeeper, Jake Godwin.
