DANBURY, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's tennis team lost a close 4-3 match to Western Connecticut State University on Monday afternoon in a non-conference match.
Eric Chamandy (Montreal, Quebec) won his singles no. 1 match against Aidan Burke, 6-1, 7-6 (4).
In singles no. 4, Peter Keese (Minnetonka, Minn.) won a three-set thriller, 6-4, 4-6, 10-7 over Alex Maldonado.
Zane Kindrachuk (Calgary, Alberta) didn't lose a game in his 6-0, 6-0 win over Adam Gallagher in singles no. 6
The Colonials took the doubles point, winning all three matches.
The Falcons move to 0-3 on the season, while WestConn moves to 1-6.
