NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Annabelle Jabs (East Hartland, Conn.) and Amelia Ovalles (Lawrence, Mass.) of the Albertus Magnus College softball teams were both named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll for their performances over the 3-3 week for the Falcons.

In the circle for Albertus, Jabs went 2-1 over 12.2 innings in three starts, striking out 15 with a 2.21 ERA.

Against Dean in a 5-0 win on April 8th, Jabs pitched six innings, giving up just two hits and striking out seven. In a 21-3 win over Colby-Sawyer on April 11th, she struck out three batters and gave up just one run on two hits and a walk in 2.2 innings. She also struck out five batters against Wesleyan on April 7th.

At the plate, Ovalles batted .313 with two home runs, a walk, four RBI and five runs. She also pitched 10.1 innings in three starts, striking out 11 and posting a 2.03 ERA.

In the game two 16-13 win over Colby-Sawyer on April 11th, Ovalles hit two home runs in the top of the second inning as part of a 12-run inning for the Falcons she finished the game 3-for-4 and also scored three runs. She also earned the win after pitching 3.1 innings and striking out two.

Against Dean in game two on April 8th, she struck out seven in four shutout innings. She added two more strikeouts against Wesleyan in three innings on April 7th.
