NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Ariellys Velez (Watertown, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus women's basketball team was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll. 

Velez scored back-to-back 20 point games for the Falcons. She had 20 points against Springfield and followed with 21 points, six rebounds, and two steals against Babson.

The first-year guard is averaging 16.6 points per game, good for fourth in the conference. She is also averaging 4.9 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game.
