WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's golf team finished in third place at the University of Hartford/Wampanoag Women's Spring Invitational on Monday at the par 72 Wampanoag Country Club.
The Falcons finished with a 145-over par 433 in the five-team tournament. The University of Hartford won the event with a 71-over par 359 followed by Keene State with a 95-over par 383.
Molly Martin was the team's top finisher, placing sixth after a 20-over par 92. Martin had a birdie on the par four seventh hole and also had six pars.
Kayla Clark (Avon, Conn.) shot a 109 on the day with one par, followed by Gabriella Dellacroce (Woodbridge, Conn.) who finished a stoke behind clark with two pars.
Lila Whitney (Canton, Conn.) shot a 122 with two pars and Amanda Lepore (Trumbull, Conn.) shot a 135 with one par.
Maria Branyan of the University of Hartford was the individual medalist, finishing with a seven-over par 79.
