HOW IT HAPPENED
- Albertus opened the scoring in the first period at the 5:07 mark when Kendall Conley (Trumbull, Conn.) collected the puck in the defensive zone and sent it ahead to Kayla Clark (Avon, Conn.). Clark and Walsh broke out on a two-on-one, with Clark feeding Walsh for the finish to give the Falcons a 1–0 lead.
- The Falcons struck again just 23 seconds into the second period, when Walsh's shot deflected off Chatham goaltender Morgan Miller and landed on the stick of Reynolds, who buried a diving shot for her first collegiate goal, extending the lead to 2–0.
