NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Alana Laser (San Jose, Ca.) of the Albertus Magnus women's ice hockey team was named United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Rookie of the Week for her contributions in the Falcons' impressive weekend. 

In a 1-0-1 weekend for the Falcons, the freshman winger put up three points on two goals and an assist during the team's weekend series against Framingham State. 

In a 6-4 win at home on Friday, December 5, Laser was credited with her first career assist. She followed that up with a two-goal performance on Saturday, December 6, on the road in a 2-2 tie. Laser then scored the lone goal in the 1-0 shootout.
