NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Alana Laser (San Jose, Ca.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's ice hockey team was named the United Collegiate Hockey Conference Player of the Week for her performance in the team's weekend sweep over Salem State in non-conference play.

Laser, a freshman, had a goal and assist during the weekend with a +1 on the ice.

Laser scored the eventual game-winning goal in the first period during the team's 3-1 win over the Vikings on Saturday. She also added an assist on a power play goal from Kurtia Yetman (Winnipeg, Manitoba) to seal the win for the Falcons.

This is the second honor for Laser this season as she was named UCHC Rookie of the Week in the first week of December.
