BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's ice hockey team lost a 2-1 United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) game to Utica University on Saturday at the Wonderland of Ice.
Blayne Dussold (Union, Mo.) scored the lone goal for the Falcons.
Christmas Johnson (Winnipeg, Manitoba) stopped 28 shots on the evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons got on the board just 3:16 into the game as Dussold took a pass from Alana Laser and took a shot just in front of the blue line that got past Utica goaltender, Isabella Boehm to make it a 1-0 game.
- Johnson stopped all eight shots she faced in the first period.
- Utica struck twice in the second period. The first goal came just 1:53 into the period as Kendall Best jammed in a loose puck in front of the net to tie the game, 1-1.
- At the 11:31 mark in the second, Kelsey Elliott scored what proved to be the game-winner as she stole the puck in the defensive end and fired a shot into the back of the net.
