HOW IT HAPPENED
- Albertus opened the scoring at the 13:07 mark when two deflected shots from Maddy Gootjes (Quispamsis, New Brunswick) and Sarah Tatro (Ludlow, Mass.) landed the puck on the stick of Laser in front of the net, where she slipped it past Valiant goaltender Olivia Cimorelli for her sixth goal of the season.
- The Falcons quickly made it 2-0 on the power play as Yetman controlled the puck at the point and sent it across to Dellacroce. Dellacroce threaded a pass between two Valiant defenders to Martin, who buried the one-timer for her first goal of the game and 13th of the season.
- Martin sealed the scoring with another power play goal, as she gathered a loose puck, cut through the Valiant defense, and beat Cimorelli for her second goal of the game and 14th of the season.
