ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Albertus Magnus College women's ice hockey team lost a 7-0 game to No. 4 Nazareth University on Saturday afternoon in United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) action in its regular season finale.
Jess Trocchio (Holtsville, N.Y.) stopped 25 shots on the evening.
Albertus earned the fourth seed in the UCHC and will take on fifth-seeded St. John Fisher in the first ever home playoff game in program history on Wednesday, February 25th at 4 p.m. at Ralph Walker Ice Rink.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Nazareth got the scoring started in the first period while on the power play at the 9:31 mark as Meredith Boettcher took a slap shot from just in front of the blue line to put the Golden Flyers on the board.
- The Golden Flyers went on to score three more goals in the second period, including three different goal scorers, Lindsay Moses, Sydney Gurlea, and Charlotte Crudale.
- Nazareth scored three more times in the third period, once on the power play from Abby Flanagan, Logan Marchese added a goal and Boettcher added her second goal of the game.
