Women's Lacrosse Selected 14th In GNAC Preseason Poll

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's lacrosse team was picked to finish in 14th place in the 2026 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll.

The Falcons received 17 voting points in the poll.

Defending GNAC Champion Emmanuel was selected to repeat, receiving 190 points, including 10 first-place votes. Norwich was picked second with 179 points, including two first-place votes. Saint Joseph's College of Maine was picked third with 167 points, while Colby-Sawyer (147 points) and Lasell (122) rounded out the top five. 

Simmons University was picked sixth with 110 points, which included a first-place vote. Rivier was selected seventh with 107 voting points and Regis earned the final first-place vote and finished with 105 points.

Rounding out the rest of the field was Dean (103), New England College (77), University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (73), Elms (48), Mitchell (25) and Albertus.

The Falcons open up their season on March 5th as they host Purchase at 4 p.m.
