NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's lacrosse team lost its season-opener, 20-0 to Colby-Sawyer College in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference game.
Victoria McDermott (Northford, Conn.) had 11 saves on the day for the Falcons.

- The Chargers scored 10 goals in the first quarter including four from Lauren Vignola, who scored four goals in the frame, including the first three of the game. Grace Joly also had three goals in the quarter.
- Colby-Sawyer added five more goals in the second quarter as five different players scored.
