NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to six games as the Falcons defeated Simmons University, 3-1 in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match on Saturday afternoon at Celentano Field.
Ejalam Bravo (New Britain, Conn.), Tyler Stocking (Middletown, Conn.) and Gabby Reddy (Wallingford, Conn.) each had a goal for the Falcons. For Reddy, it was her first-career goal.
Amy Stevens (Lincoln, R.I.) had a save in net for the Falcons.
The Falcons tie the 2012 and 2009 team for the best start after eight games in program history at 6-1-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bravo put the Falcons on the board in the 14th minute as she put home a rebound off a shot by Natalya Pennant (Windsor, Conn.) into a wide-open net to make it a 1-0 game. It was the fourth goal of the season for Bravo.
- In the 42nd minute, Tessa Lopez (Meriden, Conn.) kicked a deep ball down field that found Reddy, who just had a defender to beat. Reddy then fired a shot from the top of the box past Simmons goalkeeper, Lauren Sanchez to put up the Falcons 2-0 before the half.
- Just 105 seconds into the second half, Grace D'Amico floated a pass over the head of the Simmons defenders to Stocking who fought off a defender for the final 10 yards and put home her career-high sixth goal of the season.
- Simmons added a goal in the 77th minute by Olivia Riley.
