RECORDS: Albertus (10-1-2, 5-0-2 GNAC) | USJ (3-7-1, 3-3-1 GNAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons didn't allow a shot on goal in the first half as they controlled possession during most of the first half. Albertus had four shots on goal, two coming from Taya Bagley (Foster, R.I.).
- During a three minute stretch in the second half, Stevens saw two shots come her way, but was able to make the easy stops.
- Albertus finally broke through in the 80th minute when a corner kick from Tessa Lopez (Meriden, Conn.) was headed back out to her by USJ. Lopez then dribbled up a few yards and found a wide open Reddy in the box, who fired a shot to the low right corner to give the Falcons the only goal they needed on the evening.
