NEW HAVEN, CONN. - The Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team shut out Dean College 4-0 in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) regular season finale on Tuesday evening at Celentano Field.
Grace D'Amico (Southbury, Conn.) scored twice for the Falcons, while Addie Lamond (Bethlehem, Conn.) and Tyler Stocking (Middletown, Conn.) each added one.
Amy Stevens (Lincoln, R.I.) and Liliana Novicki (Clinton, Conn.) combined for the shutout, the team's 10th of the season, tying them for second most all-time in a season in program history.
Prior to the game, Lamond, Stocking, Stevens, Ejalam Bravo (New Britain, Conn.), and Haley Grecco (Thomaston, Conn.) were honored as part of senior night.
The Falcons are now tied with the 2013 team at 14 wins, the most ever in a season in program history.
The win was the 170th in the career for head coach Nick Wajnowski and associate head coach, John Adams.
Albertus earned the fourth seed and is set to host fifth seed Regis College in the GNAC Championship Quarterfinals on Saturday, Nov. 1 slated for 1 p.m. at Celentano Field. Albertus and Regis met this season on September 27, where the Falcons put up a 1-0 win on the road

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game remained scoreless after six shots on net from the Falcons were saved by Dean goalkeeper Lexi Gerow. With just three minutes remaining in the first half, Lamond buried a header off a corner kick from Tessa Lopez (Meriden, Conn.), putting the Falcons up 1-0.
- In the 56th minute, Stocking crossed a ball to the far side of the goal finding D'Amico who put away a header into the back of the net.
- Just ten minutes later, D'Amico struck again after settling a corner kick from Bravo and poking it past Gerow, extending the lead to 3-0.
- In the 72nd minute, Emily Dasilva-Oliveira (Bridgeport, Conn.) chipped a ball from the top of the 18 yard-box which landed perfectly on Stocking's foot as she tapped it right past Gerow in one touch, putting home the fourth and final goal of the match.
