Stevens Named Goalkeeper Of The Year, Wajnowski Named Coach Of The Year As Women's Soccer Puts Six On All-GNAC Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Amy Stevens  (Lincoln, R.I.) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalkeeper of the Year, and head coach Nick Wajnowski was named the conference's coach of the year while six members of the Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team were named to the All-GNAC teams as the conference released its major awards and all-conference teams.

Stevens was joined by Tyler Stocking (Middletown, Conn.), Ejalam Bravo (New Britain, Conn.) and Natalya Pennant (Windsor, Conn.) on the first team, while Grace D'Amico (Southbury, Conn.) and Julia Tsakonas (West Haven, Conn.) were named to the third team. Gabby Reddy (Wallingford, Conn.) was named to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship team.

Stevens had a record setting season in goal, going 13-3-3 with six shutouts. She was second in the GNAC in shutouts and third in both save percentage at .806 and goals-against average at 0.81. Stevens set program records for most wins in a career with 37. She also set the program record with 19 shutouts in her career, which she achieved in a 3-0 win over New England College on Oct. 24th. She also finished her career as the all-time leader in saves with 329. She had five games on the season with six or more saves during the season. This is the second season she has been named All-GNAC. In 2022, she was named to both the All-GNAC third team and the GNAC All-Rookie Team.

For Wajnowski, it is the second time earning GNAC Coach of the Year, as he also achieved the feat in 2011. He led the Falcons to a program-best 14 regular season wins in 2025 as the team finished 14-3-3 on the year. Under Wajnowski, the Falcons had the second best goal differential (38) in the conference. The team's 53 goals on the season were also a program record. He and associate head coach John Adams won their 170th career game against Dean on October 28th.

Bravo made the All-GNAC team for the second straight season, as she was named to the second team in 2024. Bravo set career highs with seven goals and a conference-leading 10 assists on the season. She opened the season with a two-goal, two-assist performance in a 4-0 win over Nichols. She also had a goal and an assist against Elms.

Stocking was named to the All-GNAC team for the first time in her career. She was fifth in the conference in both goals with 13 and points with 28. Stocking had two multi-goal games on the season, in a 6-0 wins over both Mitchell and Brooklyn College. She also had a goal and an assist against Nichols and Dean in wins.

Pennant, a defender, was named to the All-GNAC team in her first season at Albertus. She finished the season with two goals and six assists. She had a goal and an assist in a 5-0 win over Purchase and had two assists in a win over Anna Maria.

D'Amico was named to the third team after a breakout first year. She finished with 22 points on the season with eight goals and six assists. D'Amico notched at least one point in her first five games of her career, including the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Mount Holyoke. She also had her first two-goal game in a 4-0 win over Dean on October 28th.

Tsakonas finished the season with a goal and five assists as she started all 20 games for the Falcons. She had three assists in a 6-0 win over Mitchell and had a goal in a 5-0 win over Purchase.

Reddy finished her first season at Albertus with three goals on the season, including game-winners against Simmons and the University of Saint Joseph.
