NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Amy Stevens (Lincoln, R.I.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team added another accolade to her career as she was named to the United Soccer Coaches Division III Women's Scholar All-East Region Third Team.
Stevens, a mathematics major sporting a 3.99 GPA, becomes the fifth player in program history to earn a United Soccer Coaches All-Region Scholar Honor.
The honor comes on the heels of a historic season for Stevens and the Falcons, which saw Stevens named as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalkeeper of the Year and to the All-GNAC First Team after going 13-3-3 in net with 58 saves and a 0.81 goals-against average. She was also named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-Region I First Team and the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Stevens finished her career with the all-time program record in shutouts (19), saves (329) and wins (37).
