WORCESTER, Mass. - Mia Cortes of the Albertus Magnus College women's swimming team won her second event of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Swimming and Diving Championships as she took home the 200 yard breaststroke title to highlight Saturday for the Falcons.
Cortes earned the Falcons 20 points as she finished with a time of 2:32.55. Alyssa Defeo earned the Falcons four points in the same event.
On the men's side, Alexander Wynn earned the Falcons two points in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:47.99.
Overall the women's team is currently in seventh place with 69 points. The men sit in fifth with six points.
