HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Connecticut College opened the scoring at 16:54 of the first period when Andrew Eberling put the Camels ahead. The lead was short-lived, as Lozinski capitalized on a feed from Kirwin just 11 seconds later, scoring his third goal of the season to tie the game at 1–1 at 17:05.
  • The Camels struck first in the second period, as Jimmy Lyver was able to find the back of the net, creating an early lead at the 3:46 mark of the second period.
  • Albertus equalized the game once again when Maksim Tsegelnik (Moscow, Russia) collected the puck off the faceoff and set up Lavoie in front of the net, who finished for his fourth goal of the season.
  • The Falcons took the lead for the first time when Jack DeMoura (Taunton, Mass.) sent the puck toward the net, finding Kirwin who tipped in his third goal of the season, making the game 3-2 at 13:35.
  • The game was equalized once more, as Arty Mirante gathered a puck that was shot wide, and put it past Hale with just two seconds left in the third period.
  • Dann sealed the win for the Falcons in overtime, positioning himself perfectly to collect a rebound off a shot from Zane Kindrachuk (Calgary, Alberta), which ricocheted off the pads of Camels' goaltender, Primo Baldassarre. Dann buried the rebound to secure the 4–3 overtime victory.
