NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Three members of the Albertus Magnus College volleyball team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday.

Majo Pelaez (Armenia, Colombia), Paula Matheus (Boyaca, Colombia) and Da'Veona Parker (New Haven, Conn.) were all named to the team.

Pelaez, a senior who is majoring in management, made the team for the second time in her career. She led the team with 250 kills on the season and earned her 1,000th career-point in the team's final game of the season against Lehman.

Matheus, a junior, also made her second appearance on the CSC Academic All-District Team. The project management major finished the season with 128  kills and had 44 blocks on the season and 49 aces.

Parker, a psychology in counseling and mental health major, made her first appearance on the CSC Academic All-District Team.  She appeared in all 30 matches on the season with 17 aces and 153 digs.
