UTICA, N.Y. - The Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team lost a 5-1 United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) game to No. 10 Utica University on Saturday evening.
Brett Boucher (Fort McMurray, Alberta) scored his fourth goal in as many games as he had the lone tally for Albertus.
In goal, Chace Hale (Pittsburgh, Pa.) stopped 41 shots.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After stealing a pass near the blue line, Caden Pattison (Lake Stevens, Wash.) threaded a pass between two defenders on a breakaway to Boucher who put the puck home for his fourth goal of the season, making it a 1-0 game.
- Utica tied the game at the 12:50 mark of the first, after Andrew Della Rovere deflected a shot in from Will Hilfiker.
- The Pioneers took the lead in the second after a shot from along the boards went over the right shoulder of Hale to make it a 2-1 game at 6:03.
- Utica scored three more times in the third, including a goal from Stepan Kuznetsov to make it a two-goal lead and two goals from Aiden Hughes, one of which was an empty net goal.
