Men's Ice Hockey Blanked By Manhattanville In Weekend Finale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey lost the backend of a United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) series, 1-0 on Saturday evening at Ralph Walker Ice Rink.

Caleb Chabot (Blainville, Quebec) got the start in goal for the Falcons, making 26 saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • The lone goal in the game came at 9:34 in the first period as Corey Popowcer ripped a one-timer past Chabot after taking the puck from Cameron Vassos. Brett Logelfo was also credited with an assist. 

  • Both teams traded off nine shots apiece in the second period, and Albertus out-shot Manhattanville by 10 shots in the third; both goalies managed to prevent any from getting by.
