2021-22 GNAC Academic All-Conference Honorees Announced
June 21, 2022WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced its All-Academic Team for the 2021-22 school year. This year, 88 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 1,274 honorees named to the Academic Team from 14 full-time institutions and four associate member institutions in the conference. -
Michael Kobylanski Named Director of Athletics at Albertus Magnus College
June 06, 2022New Haven, Conn, June 6, 2022 – Albertus Magnus College is pleased to announce Michael Kobylanski has been selected as Director of Athletics for the College’s NCAA Division III athletics programs, which currently fields teams in 16 sports. Kobylanski, who was selected after a comprehensive, national search, will assume his new role starting July 11. -

Albertus Magnus Athletics Set to Host Unified Basketball Tournament
March 24, 2022NEW HAVEN, Conn. – On Friday, March 25, the Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department is set to host its second Unified Basketball Tournament at “The Nest” located inside the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center. Four teams – Albertus Magnus, Southern Connecticut State University, Town of Milford, and Town of North Branford – are set to compete in the tournament along with student-athletes from the various 15 Albertus athletic teams. -

Albertus Magnus College Director of Athletics Jim Abromaitis Announces Retirement
January 24, 2022NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Albertus Magnus College announces the retirement of Director of Athletics, Jim Abromaitis at the end of this academic year. Abromaitis joined Albertus in 2013, bringing to his athletics leadership role significant experience in collegiate and professional sports and in business, helping to strengthen the College’s NCAA Division III athletics program. “Albertus athletics has grown and prospered under Jim’s leadership, with expanded offerings, new facilities, and always a focus on holistic success, in competition but most importantly in the classroom,” said Albertus President, Dr. Marc M. 121 Student-Athletes Earn Dean's List Accolades for Fall 2021 Term
January 13, 2022NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Albertus Magnus College Athletics had a solid showing in the classroom during the 2021 fall semester, as 121 student-athletes from across 15 varsity sports earned Dean's List honors. Out of those 121 student-athletes, 34 of them received a GPA of 4.0. -

Albertus Magnus Athletics Hosts Founder’s Day 5K on Saturday, Sept. 25
October 05, 2021NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department, in conjunction with Founder's Day Week, hosted an on-campus 5K on Saturday, Sept. 25th. The 5K was held on the steps of Rosary Hall and participants ran the perimeter of the school three times, before finishing the race back at Rosary Hall.
